Hailing from a sheep and beef farm in Central Otago and having resided in Marlborough for eight years, Tim brings a unique blend of rural heritage and urban experience to the table.
Tim is passionate about performance, people, and culture. His background as a professional rugby player - with stints for the Tasman Mako, the Highlanders, and overseas in Japan and Europe - has shaped his understanding of high-performance environments, leadership, and teamwork. Now, he brings that same mindset to his coaching role with the Nelson College 1st XV rugby team, where he mentors the next generation of young athletes.
As Bayleys Marlborough's Performance and Culture Manager, Tim plays a key role in developing individuals and enhancing the culture of the business. His natural ability to connect with people, combined with his drive to lift those around him, helps create an environment where individuals and teams can thrive.
Tim is focused on aligning personal development with professional growth. His leadership style empowers others to operate at their best - believing that when people perform well, results follow. Whether it’s fostering internal culture, driving engagement, or supporting high-performance goals, Tim is committed to helping Bayleys Marlborough reach new heights.
