About Maxence

Maxence Cherri knows people.

With a degree in psychology and many years in customer facing roles that includes management at Air New Zealand, his experience has seen him develop a love for how unique we all are, as well as considerable skills when it comes to communication and a deeper understanding of what makes people tick.

He applies this to his new career in real estate, and is renowned for his ability to adapt and think quickly, never judging and always bringing empathy to his approach.

He understands his role is to guide his clients through one of the most important journeys of their lives, working alongside them as a problem solver and confidante while always having fun. His focus is client-centric, supporting people through important life decisions and creating relationships that endure long beyond the first sale.

Max takes a bespoke approach to each sale, listening carefully to vendors and purchasers and adapting his strategy to serve them in the way that will support them best. He understands the considerable stress that runs alongside buying or selling a house, utilizing his unique skills to create a calm and streamlined environment.

He has chosen to work with Bayleys for their heritage as a family business, and for the ways in which the company demonstrates care for their clients and also the community. Having lived in the greater Ponsonby since arriving in New Zealand from France many years ago, Max has seen the area change over time and understands what makes it such a vibrant place to live. His network is strong both as an agent and as a member of the inner central community, and he is proud to serve it well.
