Michael Guy joined the real estate industry with a passion for property. Over the years he has owned five homes and renovated a number of these. His last home he renovated is now one of his investment properties. This experience of buying, selling and renovating property gives him first-hand knowledge of the rewards property can bring as well as extensive insight into the industry.
Prior to joining real estate, Michael worked as a journalist and a writer. He wrote a number of books including Whiteout, a best selling book about the true account of Air New Zealand's DC10 crash on Mt Erebus. He is also well-known as a restaurant critic, a passion he still continues in his spare time.
Michael is able to communicate clearly with his clients to ensure he discovers what they want. His writing skills means he can create compelling property advertisements that attract maximum interest in your home. Outside of real estate, Michael's passion is fishing. He lives one minute away from the boat ramp and can be fishing off Tiritiri Matangi Island in 20 minutes. This convenience the Hibiscus Coast has to the Hauraki Gulf is the reason why Michael has grown so fond of it.
Michael lives just north of Auckland with his wife, Anna, a teacher at Browns Bay Primary School. He and his wife have raised two daughters together and consider this to be their greatest life achievement. If you want a friendly salesperson who is passionate about achieving, great at communicating and has personal experience in buying and selling property, contact Michael Guy.
