Backed by a Bachelor of Agricultural Science degree from Lincoln College in Canterbury, Mike became a farm management consultant and partner for Engelbrecht, Royds, Tavendale and Co, a well-known Ashburton company, covering an extensive area within Canterbury. This job role required extensive knowledge and consulting experience on all rural property types and their associated farming practices. During this time, Mike was also a working director and shareholder in a property at Winchmore, Ashburton which was involved in crop, sheep and blackcurrant production.
Mike’s subsequent exposure to the business and commercial market sectors has provided him with valuable experience in sales and marketing enabling him to provide exceptional client services, along with the opportunity to impart his wide knowledge base.
Mike’s extensive background enables him to utilise his considerable knowledge and experience in advice, and to achieve best sales or purchase results for his clients.
Mike has been an integral part of a team with Ben Turner, involved in rural property sales in Canterbury since 2008, marketing and selling some of the finest Canterbury farms across the whole rural land-use spectrum.
