Prior to joining Bayleys as a sales consultant, specialising in residential and lifestyle properties, Neal spent two decades in the farming and viticulture sectors in Hawke’s Bay, which involved considerable dedication, hard work, planning and commitment, which laid the groundwork in developing Neal’s excellent communication and negotiation skills. Raised on the family farm, Neal believes we can all play a part in protecting and enhancing our environment and is committed to fitness, health and well-being.
Neal worked abroad for many years in Europe and the United States as an interior design consultant, stylist and landscaper. His extensive skill set and attention to detail has proven invaluable when marketing property and Neal works closely with his vendors to ensure that their properties are showcased to their absolute best. Neal prides himself on his professional integrity, honesty, empathy, strong communication skills and approachable nature. I have found Neal to be impeccable in all his dealings; he is polite, courteous and caring of his clients - both vendor and purchaser. Neal ensures that his knowledge of the property is extensive; he does not 'hide any of the bad bits', he is scrupulously honest. Neal stays in contact, not leaving one to wonder 'what happened to those people?'. If Neal says he is going to do something, he does it.
I would also describe Neal as a man of taste - his personal presentation is immaculate and he is always punctual to his appointment times. Neal is well educated, well travelled and has extensive knowledge of various industries which add to his ability to deal with anyone from any walk of life. This may sound like a testimonial by formula, it is not. I have found Neal to be all that I describe and more, over 6 months of dealing with him the only negative is that he never stays for a cup of tea! 'Lucky' is the word I keep coming back to when I think about our experience with Neal. This was our first time buying a house in New Zealand and Neal was wonderful at guiding us through the process.
I got the impression that Neal worked just as hard for the vendor as he did for us and wanted everyone to have the best possible outcome. Neal was always available for any questions we had, helpfully made recommendations, and truly went above and beyond to make sure the process was as stress-free as possible (which is no small feat!).
