Bayleys in the North has helped raise $149,000 for Harbour Hospice in 2025, supporting specialist palliative care and family services across the Mahurangi, Hibiscus Coast & Wellsford communities.
A significant portion of this total, $80,000 was generated at the Harbour Hospice Homes & Garden Tour held in Point Wells on Sunday 9th November.
The much-loved annual event was a sell-out success, with 565 tickets snapped up by attendees eager to explore 11 of the most beautiful homes and gardens. From architecturally designed residences to lush, lovingly curated gardens, the tour offered a day of inspiration, creativity, and community connection.
At the heart of the tour, the Point Wells Hall provided a welcoming hub where guests enjoyed hot drinks and scones with cream, freshly made onsite by the Hospice team. A silent auction, raffle, and a variety of community stalls added to the lively atmosphere and the fundraising total.
Bayleys Point Wells salesperson and local resident, Jodi Sterling, who sponsored the event and helped source homes for the tour, said the day illustrated the generosity and spirit that defines the Point Wells community.
“It’s always amazing to see the community come together for such a special cause,” said Jodi. “The tour captures what makes Point Wells unique, beautiful properties, caring people, and a genuine sense of connection. Bayleys is proud to support Harbour Hospice and help make events like this possible.”
The Homes and Garden Tour is one of three major Harbour Hospice events sponsored by Bayleys in the North in 2025, following the Art Affair in Warkworth ($45,000 raised) and the Ladies Long Lunch in Matakana ($24,000 raised). Together, the three events have contributed $149,000 to Harbour Hospice.
Bayleys and Harbour Hospice extend a heartfelt thanks to the homeowners, volunteers, supporters, and event organisers who made the 2025 fundraising programme such a success.
