Bayleys opens the doors to two new Auckland offices

In August 2016, Bayleys Real Estate welcomed the addition of two new offices to its impressive residential office profile across Greater Auckland – opening Bayleys One Tree Hill and Bayleys Ellerslie.

Previously trading as L.J Hooker, the Bayleys One Tree Hill office at 778 Manukau Road and the Bayleys Ellerslie branch at 105 Main Highway were completely rebranded under the Bayleys livery - with the majority of sales and administration staff making the move across to the new brand

Heading the team is sales manager Glenn Baker - a long-standing real estate sales and marketing professional in the area – with a history stretching back to when the One Tree Hill branch first opened the doors in 1990.

Under Baker’s leadership, the offices have received a slew of international accolades - placing the branches among the top five locations within their former New Zealand network for each of the past 26 years in operation.

During his time at the helm, Glenn Baker has watched the area benefit from the strong performance of the Auckland property market, and sees the new partnership with Bayleys indicative of the growth the suburbs have enjoyed.

“Sale values in our territory have increased by an average of $400,100 in the past three years, with the areas increasingly regarded as upmarket locations in which to live. Our clients expect exceptional service and the benefit of being part of the Bayleys networks nationally and overseas are tremendous and will certainly deliver on exceeding those expectations,” Mr Baker said.

With ties entrenched in the broader One Tree Hill and Ellerslie communities, the new Bayleys offices will continue the major sponsorship of the Royal Oak Racquets Club and Cornwall Park Cricket Club, with Bayleys Real Estate general manager Johnny Sinclair indicating that the acquisitions are part of an exciting period of growth for Bayleys.

Mr Sinclair said he looked forward to the continued success of both branches – with new opportunities for vendors emerging through Bayleys’ outstanding marketing initiatives and substantial support services.

“Bayleys has outperformed the Auckland residential property market for the past eight years – both in the good times and the tough times. As a result, so too have our vendors outperformed the market with their sales results,” he said.

“For our new clients in the One Tree hill and Ellerslie locales, Bayleys is confident about marketing and selling fantastic homes which benefit from the proximity and travel time to the city, coupled with the historic character and charm of the areas.”
