Bayleys sells The Block NZ houses

Bayleys has once again had a hugely successful sales and marketing campaign for all four The Block NZ houses this season, with each of the properties selling in the live television auction finale held last night.

Well done to the buyers, salespeople, Bayleys North Shore general manager Hayden Stanaway and Bayleys Mt Eden sales manager Jonathan Sissons for leading the campaigns.

The Block NZ 2015 came to a dramatic close with contestants Brooke and Mitch coming out the victors during a live finale at the Rendezvous hotel in Auckland.

Bayleys auctioneers Daniel Coulson, Sabine Davison, Richard Valintine and Blair Cashmore called the auctions for the four renovated homes as thousands of Block-a-holics were on the edges of their seats waiting for the results.

Brooke and Mitch won $290,000 in prize money all up, after their villa sold for $1,350,000 - a profit of $190,000. They also scooped up a casual $100,000 for coming first.

Couples Jamie and Hayden, who renovated house one, and Cat and Jeremy, from house 3, made $160,000 profit.

Jamie and Hayden, of the bold black and white-themed house sold their villa for $1,335,000. Cat and Jeremy’s villa went under the hammer for $1,320,000.

And Sarah and Minanne, from house 2, who were pinned as the loveable underdogs of the competition, sold the villa they renovated for $1,272,000. That’s a tidy $123,000 profit.

Though Cat and Jeremy missed out on the top spot, they captured the hearts of their fans, winning the People’s Choice award.

The finale concludes weeks of painstaking renovations for the contestants and a sales and marketing campaign led by Bayleys salespeople Kirstin Elia, Charlotte Kofoed, Summer Sun, Kalala Lavea, Stewart Morgan, Marjoree Wimmers, Kelly Morris, and Paul Sissons.

The sale of all four homes under the hammer tops off another successful campaign to add to the past three seasons that Bayleys has been involved with The Block NZ franchise.
