Spring is one of the busiest times of the year in real estate and many who contemplated selling their property during winter months are taking a step into the auction arena now.
Bayleys Canterbury is giving this seasonal interest momentum with the launch of the Bayleys Big Call Spring Auction.
The campaign offers hugely discounted marketing and caters for every variety of real estate across the region with up to ninety properties going under the hammer over three dates in spring.
“Placing your property on the market can be a very expensive time,” said residential licensee Rosemarie de Jong.
“Expenses such as preparing property presentation, legal fees and forthcoming moving expenses all need to be considered, so any amount of money saved on advertising is really appreciated,” said Rosemarie.
“Another huge benefit of the campaign is you are essentially only on the market for three weeks before we have the property sold. This means less time preparing for open homes and viewings.”
“The sale will be unconditional, this means there’s no risk of it collapsing and having to start all over again so the process is far less stressful overall.”
Having worked with the campaign in previous years, licensee Sonia Cameron says, “Vendors save a substantial amount of money putting their house on the market with this campaign and on auction day have a better chance of more buyers putting up their hands to compete for the property.”
An atmosphere of high energy is maintained throughout the day as the three auctioneers take it in turns to auction the properties.
“There’s lots of energy and excitement on auction day,” said auctioneer Fiona Kiwi.
“Buyers always seem to want what other buyers want and the Big Call Auction environment makes an excellent platform to get the best price for your property.”
