The Asian Team from Bayleys Canterbury set their sights on selling property to the Chinese at the Luxury Property Showcase in Beijing on the 24th-26th of April 2015.

The LPS represented more than 35 countries and over 220 cities across the three day event. A wide variety of property was displayed at the showcase including ski chalets in Switzerland, beach villas in Thailand, luxury homes in the Florida Keys and apartments in Dubai.

Over 5,200 affluent individuals from Beijing and Northern China attended the invitation only event allowing these VIP investors exclusive access to some of the world’s most extraordinary destinations.

Founder and organizer of LPS Mr. Oliver de Treglode described the showcase, “At LPS, buyers know exactly what they will find: only quality, reputable and trustworthy agents, carefully selected from the world’s most sought after areas.”

The Bayleys Canterbury stand received much interest at the showcase with hundreds of copies of the Bayleys Asia Luxury Property Showcase publication circulated amongst the attendees.

Richard Norris of Bayleys Canterbury says, “There was lots of interest in our display, the Chinese are aware of New Zealand and the kind of lifestyle it can offer them.”

“The investors at LPS are forward thinking. Many are not considering a move to New Zealand now, but looking towards future investment for their children and following generations”, says Richard.

The Bayleys Asia team succeeded in generating interest in Canterbury property at the showcase with new networks created and many leads to follow-up on.
