COVID-19 update: We are here for you

At Bayleys we are following advice from the Ministry of Health and the Real Estate Institute of New Zealand as the COVID-19 situation continues to unfold.

Our number one priority is to protect the safety of our people, our clients and the communities in which we operate.

Our offices remain open with extra precautions in place to mitigate the risk of spreading COVID-19.

We have the following procedures in place to give buyers and sellers as much confidence as possible in the current climate.

Bayleys offices

Bayleys offices are open and we have signage in place requesting anyone who is feeling unwell not to visit our offices. We will ask you to sign our register when you visit us and provide contact details should we need to get in touch with you.

We request all visitors to contact us if they feel unwell within 14 days of visiting our offices.

We also request that anyone who has been overseas in the past 14 days not visit.

We have extra cleaning in place and we have hand sanitiser available in each of our offices.

Open homes

At open homes we are mindful of social distancing and we ask anyone who is feeling unwell not to attend open homes.

Please don’t be offended if a salesperson doesn’t shake your hand when they greet you.

We will be asking open home visitors to provide some extra information about their recent travel history and to contact us if they feel unwell in the next 14 days.

If you would prefer to book a private viewing please contact the salesperson to arrange this.

We will also ask you to sign our register when you visit an open home and provide contact details should we need to get in touch with you.

Auctions

Following advice from the Ministry of Health that indoor gatherings should be capped at 100, we are closely monitoring numbers in our auction rooms.

If you would like to discussing bidding by phone at a Bayleys auction, please contact the salesperson or relevant Bayleys office.

We currently ask all auction attendees to register before entering the auction room and to provide the same information that we collect at open homes.

We also have hand sanitiser available.

We are monitoring the situation closely and if you have questions or concerns please contact a member of the Bayleys team.
