Nick Young is a rural sales consultant for Bayleys Canterbury, working closely with vendors and prospective buyers across a full range of farming properties including dairy farms, sheep and beef farms, dry stock and grazing, plus lifestyle properties.
Nick commenced his career in the real estate industry over 15 years ago because he had a strong interest in the business, and he continues to love it to this day.
“Working in the real estate industry provides me with the opportunity to take ownership of my work and to meet a variety of new people from various backgrounds. The ability to communicate and sell is what defines a successful sales agent. From there the opportunities are endless,” Nick says.
Nick chose to work with Bayleys Real Estate because of their comprehensive track record synonymous with quality, plus the cooperative effort of all their agents to maximise the value of their clients’ real estate assets through superior marketing and customer service.
“I believe that positive reinforcement and a good working team are the key factors in any workplace. Additionally, I have a background in farming, which when coupled with my many years of real estate experience ensures a high level of success when handling my clients greatest real estate assets,” Nick says.
Outside of the workplace Nick is very much the family man with two grown sons and a young grandson. He enjoys cooking, travel and has a passion for classic motor racing. In his spare time Nick is a member of the Canterbury Car Club. He considers one of his greatest successes his second place finish in the 2010 BMW South Island Open Series event
