In his 11 years in Marlborough, Pete has been in senior positions in the wine industry, both as General Manager of Seresin Estate and then lately as the Managing Director of Highfield TerraVin. Throughout this time, he has built a considerable business network in the region.
Prior to coming to New Zealand, the rest of his career was spent in the management of hospitality businesses and in consulting, giving him exposure to a multitude of small and medium sized enterprises. With time in sales, marketing and operations roles he’s built up a broad business knowledge which has given him a deep understanding of the nuts and bolts of how businesses work, from the P&L through to the balance sheet.

It’s exciting to think that we can progress with new initiatives in our business – remaining on-site in a property that has served us so well over the years – but without the financial ties.
