About Rod

Rod’s excited to be back home in the Manawatu region having developed a successful 30 year career in business with specific expertise gained in the key elements of sales, marketing, and people leadership.

Together with wife Shelley and based out of the Palmerston North and Feilding offices, the opportunity to acquire the Bayleys franchise for the Manawatu, Rangitikei and Horowhenua regions is a dream come true.

Having held executive-level responsibilities and achieving in excess of $1 billion in sales, Rod’s experience will provide comfort and confidence to existing and potential Bayleys clients when choosing to do business with the Bayleys team. With an extensive commercial background, Rod places absolute importance on trust, integrity and professionalism at all times. This is simply “The Bayleys Way”.

“Our intention is to exceed the client’s expectations by keeping the client at the centre of our thinking. We take our responsibilities and career seriously. Combining strong process and professionalism will propel Bayleys to delivering further success for its highly valued clients”.

Helping shape high-performing teams in a fun culture is what drives Rod.

“I am impressed with the calibre of people here at Bayleys, and see a wonderful opportunity to enhance our offering of an outstanding real estate service in all areas of Residential, Rural and Commercial sales. I am always looking to attract more top talent to our teams”.

When not involved in all things Bayleys, he enjoys skiing, tennis and spending quality time with family and friends.

Growing up in Palmerston North, Rod fondly recalls the mighty Manawatu Ranfurly Shield era of the late 70’s. “Go the Turbos!”

Like everyone else here at Bayleys Manawatu, Rangitikei and Horowhenua, Rod is big on community and looks forward to contributing to the continued growth of the region through active participation and engagement.

Rod and Shelley would like to take this opportunity to thank everybody for the incredibly warm welcome back. Home is most definitely where the heart is. Exciting to connect anew and reconnect with enduring relationships of yesteryear. Feeling humbled.
