Sam Rosenberg is a third-generation real estate agent. His mother and grandfather were both in real estate and, Sam believes it’s safe to say, he has property in his genes.
After several years working in retail management, Sam began his own real estate career in London during the last financial crisis. He has worked in varying markets over the past decade rising from salesperson to manager of flagship offices. Now, back home in New Zealand, Sam is Sales Manager of the Bayleys Howick office mentoring and assisting salespeople working in the East Auckland residential and lifestyle areas, to reach their full potential.
With his British real estate experience, Sam contributes a unique point of difference – the extremely competitive London market allowed him to develop and perfect effective sales techniques which he now shares with the Bayleys team. Yet, his experience has also confirmed that the staples remain the same:
Be genuine! A trusting relationship is at the heart of Sam’s own success. He enjoys long term relationships with clients by providing consistently good service with excellent communication.
Listening is key. Sam believes his early forays into learning languages lead to his ability to pay attention not only to what clients are saying, but to what it is they mean!
Selling homes is a responsibility Sam takes seriously, so he committed to staying up-to-date with market news, interest rates, exchange rates, house-price to income ratios, rental yields, etc. – information invaluable to clients for making sound sales decisions.
Sam is acutely aware of how all-encompassing the sales and purchase process can be for clients, and he works hard to make it a better experience for all. He is thankful to be a part of the Bayleys team with its motto, “All Together Better” – a foundational statement, Sam believes, that propels the company to being an industry-leader.
With two-year-old, lively twins and a four-year-old boy, Sam has little time outside of work for anything other than playing Dad. Once an international-level swimmer, he would rise daily at 5am to get to the pool, returning to it at the end of each working day. He thanks this experience for his tenacity in real estate.
