Personifying the ‘all-round good-guy’ image Kiwi blokes are known for, Stan Sickler is an exciting acquisition for Bayleys Taupo, offering strong ties to the rural community and a motivated, result-driven approach to sales. With 36 years farm experience under his belt previously working in dairy and dry-stock, Stan purchased his first farm at the age of 35 and is well versed in the trials and tribulations his clients face when buying or selling rural property – after all, he’s been there and done that.
Attracted to a career in real estate after a successful stint managing a North Island sales team, Stan is perfectly poised to use his strong negotiation skills, industry knowledge and intellect to achieve goals for his clients. Aligning his own success with that of his customers, Stan is an affable, popular character in the local community and it’s his helpful, ‘can-do’ attitude that has instilled such confidence in his abilities.
For Stan, joining Bayleys has been a natural progression and teaming up with the Real Estate Institute of New Zealand’s (REINZ) ‘small agency of the year’ has enabled him to hit the ground running, quickly utilising his rural networks and capitalising on the excellent reputation of the Bayleys brand throughout the Great Lake district.
"Stan was engaged by us to market and sell one of our dairy farms. We are very pleased with the way he has conducted the whole process from marketing right through to an eventual sale. Stan kept us informed at all times and communicated well with staff on farm. We would definitely recommend Stan to any intending sellers."
