With a background spanning business, marketing, design, extensive international travel, hospitality and property, Sylvia brings strong commercial experience, practical capability and genuine people skills to her role supporting Gregers Andersen at Bayleys Tauranga.

Sylvia holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Otago, majoring in Marketing and Management. She has owned and operated high-end women’s fashion businesses, developing expertise in marketing, client relationships, business management, leadership and design. Her international experience includes several years working aboard superyachts in the Mediterranean, where discretion, adaptability, resourcefulness and attention to detail were essential.

Sylvia and Gregers started their family in France before returning to New Zealand when their children reached school age. Since then, Sylvia has managed their lifestyle property while becoming an integral part of Gregers’ real estate business, bringing a practical understanding of property, presentation and the many details involved in preparing a home for market.

As a licensed real estate professional and Gregers’ Personal Assistant, Sylvia supports client communication, listing preparation, marketing and campaign coordination. Her design eye, organisation and hands-on approach are particularly valuable in ensuring every aspect of a property’s presentation is thoughtfully considered.

Naturally personable and down to earth, Sylvia brings warmth, professionalism and a calm, practical approach to working with clients.
