
With three decades of experience as a respected property advisor and Registered Valuer, Stuart joined the Wellington office of Bayleys Valuations Limited in May 2025. As a Director within the Valuation and Advisory Services Team, he provides comprehensive valuation and consultancy advice across a wide range of property assets.
Stuart achieved Registered Valuer status in 2000, and his valuation reports are accepted by all major trading banks in his capacity as a Panel Valuer. He has also acted as an Expert Witness in both the Family and District Courts, and has undertaken valuation assignments for Government Departments and Local Authorities.
Over the course of his career, Stuart has developed an extensive and diverse valuation portfolio. His professional experience includes market and insurance valuations across numerous asset classes, such as multi-unit residential developments (including apartments and townhouses), investment properties (home-and-income and multi-flat dwellings), single residential dwellings, lifestyle blocks, unit title and cross-lease properties, company share apartments, large-scale residential subdivisions, and vacant land.
In addition to core mortgage and insurance valuation assignments, Stuart’s expertise extends to investment and development feasibility analysis, compensation assessments under the Public Works Act 1981, ownership interest assessments, and matrimonial property valuations.
