Office details

Manned by a team of real estate specialists - Catherine Stewart, Jude O'Connor, Leah O'Driscoll and Lisa Pocklington combine to provide a complete real estate service. Focusing on Baylys Beach homes and baches, quality residential properties, lifestyle blocks, holiday homes and a big emphasis on all things country, our office is a hive of activity. Situated on the corner of Victoria and Normanby Street, next to the most popular café in town, this very visual location ensures high profile for all the properties that it promotes. The office is supported by a number of commercial, residential and country staff from the Whangarei office and is managed by Tony Grindle who has spent the majority of his real estate career in and around the Dargaville-Kaipara area. Bayleys are passionate about the Dargaville community, and as such support a large number of community, sporting and educational initiatives. If you want to talk property, or get a feel for what is special about the “Kumara capital” of NZ, you will enjoy a coffee and chat with our resident experts.

Area details

Located 175km north of Auckland and just 58km west of Whangarei City, Dargaville lies on the banks of the Northern Wairoa River – once centre of the thriving kauri gum trade. Nowadays commerce is focussed on the rich alluvial soils producing much of the nation’s kumara supply, and of course providing a full service centre for the dairy industry. Approx. 4,400 people have made their homes here drawn by the peaceful relaxed nature of the town, its quaint main street buildings, cafes, art galleries and the 60km long Ripiro Beach which provides an unsurpassed lifestyle.
